0:00Hey 各位，午安。我叫 Sun，是一個叫 The Mu 的 community 創辦人。我們是 pop-up city community，也是 builder community。今年我們把活動帶到中國，因為我是中國人，對自己國家一直有 soft spot。Hey guys, good afternoon. My name is Sun. I'm the founder of a community called The Mu. So we are a pop-up city community and also a builder community. And this year, we brought—so we've been around the world, many cities, for many years, places like Argentina, Ghana, Thailand, Japan.

0:24為什麼是中國？它大概是 tech、military、economy 和各種 innovation 的 top 國家之一。這些數字可以拍照。unicorn 數量、總投資…… literally 數千億美元投在 tech，還有機器人、AI 等各種 innovation 在中國發生。And this year we brought the event to China because I'm Chinese, and I think I always have a soft spot for my country. So we're bringing our event to China. So why China? Because China is probably one of the top countries in tech, military, economic, and all kinds of innovation.

0:44但常有人問：我怎麼參與中國？我 suddenly 意識到，中國 innovation 很多，但 ecosystem 相對西方仍較封閉。All these numbers, you can take a picture. Number of unicorns, total... Literally hundreds of billions of dollars being invested in tech, and a lot of other stuff going on, and robots, AI, all kinds of innovation is happening in China.

0:58founder 要進中國仍不容易：語言、資金流、文化，還有 firewall，對吧？所以我們決定在中國辦 global tech event，向 local community、local government、local partner 證明對中國有大量 demand 和 interest。But I've been asked, like, questions on how can I get involved in China? And that's when I suddenly realized that China is doing so much innovation, but the ecosystem is still relatively closed compared to a lot of countries in the West.

1:13語言、資金流、文化，甚至 firewall 等因素，founder 要進中國仍不容易，對吧？所以我們決定在中國辦 global tech event，向 local community、local government、local partner 證明對中國有大量 demand 和 interest。It's still quite difficult for founders to enter China because of the language, capital flow, culture, and all this kind of stuff, even the firewall, right? So that's why we decided to, we want to do an event, a global tech event in China, to show the local community, the local government, local partners that there is a lot of demand and interest in China.

1:38muShanghai 首場活動

1:38之後可以在不同 regulation 等方面合作。所以我們今年在中國上海辦了第一場，叫 muShanghai，5 月 10 日到 6 月 6 日，為期一個月的 pop-up city。And later we can work together on different regulations, different kinds of stuff. So that's why we hosted our first event ever in China, Shanghai, this year. It's called muShanghai. It's a month-long pop-up city from May 10 to June 6.

1:54全球超過 2000 位 attendee。更具體地，900 多位海外 attendee 來到中國，對很多人是第一次。線上觀看超過 2300 萬，你知道中國人口 huge。We have more than 2,000 attendees from around the world. To be more specific, we have more than 900 attendees overseas coming to China. And for a lot of them, it's the first time ever coming to China. We had more than 23 million online views because, as you can know, China is a huge country with a huge population.

2:15我們辦了超過 200 場活動。最 impressive 的是最後兩點。第一，我們為全球 attendee 核發超過 100 份 visa。你沒聽錯。And we hosted more than 200 events. And I think the most impressive things are the last two points. First, we issued more than 100 visas for attendees from around the world. You heard me right.

2:29我們是 community，真的可以幫不同 attendee 辦 visa。你直接跟我們合作，我們直接跟政府部門合作。還有 firewall-free internet。來 hub 連 Wi-Fi，沒有 firewall，Google、Facebook 都能用。對，這大概是我們在中國 community 獨有的 benefit。Like, we are a community that can actually issue visas to different attendees. You work directly with us, and we work directly with the government department. And we also have firewall-free internet. If you come to our hub, you connect to the Wi-Fi, there is no firewall. You can access Google, Facebook, anything you like. Yeah, and that's probably the only... ...

2:52這是在中國只有我們 community 享有的 benefit，所以在那邊算 unique。今天也宣布 permanent hub。muShanghai 之後帶來很多 interest、talent、founder，我們向 local government、local partner 證明了 interest。That's the only—this is a benefit that's only available to our community in China, so we're sort of unique over there. And yes, so today we're also announcing our permanent hub. So after muShanghai, we brought a lot of interest, talents, founders, and we proved to local government, local partners that there is a lot of interest.

3:14上海永久據點

3:14現在我們跟上海市政府某區直接合作，在市中心建 permanent hub，8000 平方米，明年中左右 ready，希望 renovation 一切順利。歡迎全球對中國有興趣、想 explore 的人合作。So now we are working directly with the Shanghai government, one of the districts, to create this permanent hub in the center of Shanghai. And it's 8,000 square meters space. It's going to be ready by next year, mid next year-ish. Hopefully everything goes well with the renovation and everything. And yeah, and we are open to collaboration with everyone around the world who is interested in China, who wants to explore China.

3:38想學怎麼 leverage 中國，在全球 stage 上 build 我們想 build 的。還有，今年 11 月 29 到 12 月 18 日，我們在中國大陸深圳辦第二場 pop-up city。Who wants to learn how to leverage China and to build whatever we want to build on a global stage. So that's the idea, and what else? So yeah, after, so to talk more about this, we are hosting our second pop-up city in mainland China, in Shenzhen this year, November 29 to December 18.

4:02請在各平台 follow。本來三週 pop-up，後來因 Donald Trump、Xi Jinping、Vladimir Putin 等 global leader 活動前都在深圳，我們被迫 respect 而 postpone、縮短。So. Please follow us on different platforms. This is going to be a three-week pop-up city. Originally it was four weeks, but then we had to postpone it and shorten it for a while, because all the global leaders like Donald Trump, Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin, they are all going to be in Shenzhen right before our event.

4:20最新日期 11 月 29 到 12 月 18，三週。有 Robotics Week、Biotech and Longevity，最後 AI Week。邀請中國 top 公司、community、representative 來 join。So we're sort of being forced to, I mean, to respect the global leaders, we're postponing our event. A week later. And now our latest date is November 29th to December 18th. It's going to be three weeks long. We have the Robotics Week, Biotech and Longevity, and finally the AI Week. We're inviting all the top companies in China, communities in China, representatives in China to come over and join us.

4:46深圳快閃與協作

4:46我們想跟 global community 建更多 bridge，也 support 任何想在中國、深圳 build 的人。在 muShenzhen 也會跟 community co-create 上海 hub 長什麼樣。And we want to build more bridges with the global communities, and also. We want to support anyone who wants to build anything in China, in Shenzhen. Yeah, feel free. And within muShenzhen, we are also going to be doing sessions to co-create with our community what the Shanghai hub will look like.
