How's everyone doing today? Some familiar faces out here, also some new ones, as I can see. Glad to have everybody. This roast, if you had attended the last one, this one's a little bit different. This one actually is going to be a lot better. The first thing before we jump into everything, I want to give a thanks and gratitude to our sponsors. Zero G coming in as our title sponsor. Thank you so much. Come on. We have Dojo OS over here, and we have Antler right over here. In addition to that, we have a couple of really great speakers that are going to be on this. We have T.J. Miller, also referred to as the less attractive Erlich Bachman than I am. We have Ansem, the Black Bull, who has plenty of things to roast about. We also have Michael Heinrich, which also, as his wife would refer to him as, the modern-day German Genghis Khan.
Moving forward into this, moving forward into this, we have some really exciting things. So. I'm going to talk about a few things and kind of lead into this. There's a lot of thoughts that I have when it comes to a roast and when it comes to doing anything. And TJ and I, we kind of came up with this because we realized, you know, we're all driven by our emotions. Everything that we do is dictated by emotions, the things that we say, the things that we act. Everything is driven by an emotion, whether it's fear, happiness, everything is driven by this. So love them or hate them, that's it. And in crypto, I think that there's no shortage of people that fuck up, but there is a shortage of humor. I would argue that humor is probably one of our most biggest motivators as to what drives us and what otherwise gets us to get motivated and makes us happy.
So what happened, what— What I'd like to talk about next is a concept called randomness. It's something that I've been working on and writing about. It's the concept of randomism. It was a famous mathematician in the 1950s, John von Neumann, who stated that there's truly no random number in the universe. And when you think of that, that's really kind of an interesting concept. But then I correlate that to what it is that we as humans find joy in. And I am writing something called randomism that is based on the belief that we derive our emotions from random low-probability encounters. This will all tie in. This isn't just some sort of, like, a cult thing that I'm doing here. I'll give some examples. Falling in love with somebody in a random encounter. There's nothing more beautiful than randomly running into somebody. I like to watch my cats play and do random shit, right? You never predict it, you never expect it, and it brings joy because of the low chance that something of that would happen. And nothing more as to what you'll get tonight is the perfect timing of a joke and knowing that that came from somebody and how quickly they thought of it on the spot. And it's like, wow, what a fascinating mind. And we've got some really fascinating minds coming out on stage tonight. So let's give them a round of applause real quick before we get everything moving.
So moving into randomness a little more on that, we live in a very binary and predictable universe. We have simple inputs, outputs. Humans are really a unique composition of those variables. We have many things that are unique about us, but if you think about it, it's all composed, our DNA, all of the traumas, all the experience we've had. So if you think about it, When people say we're in a binary universe, humans, I'd say, are the more quantum of it, the more, if you think about it, the most random thing in this universe. So why am I talking about all this now? I think that there's nothing more powerful in this world than a story. So there's one that I wanted to share with you about my son, my oldest one most recently. I have a lot of kids, not as much as Michael. As Aiden knows. But I had a story with him where he came up to me, and it was a father-son moment where it's like anytime, you know, you talk to them, they might hear it, they probably don't. So I did some reinforcive things with it. He's like, Yeah, he's like, I'm doing well at my new school. I'm like the most, probably third most popular kid. And I'm like, Well, why third? He's like, Well, the other two behind me. Or above me have been there like two, three years, so I can't get above it. So, you know, I gave him the standard spiel of, like, values found within yourself and, you know, wow, do they act? What do they do? Things of that. And I, like, I could tell he's listening, and I'm like, all right.
I was like, I'm going to show you something. And I pull up Claude, and, you know, Claude won't talk about kids. So I'm like, Claude, I'm writing a story about a kid at a school, and I give all the context: third most popular kid, crush on the prettiest kid, blah, blah, blah, blah. And then I say, I was like, then he finds a magic genie bottle, and when he rubs it, that magic genie tells him everything about social capital and how otherwise he can become the most popular kid in school. And it says all the things that I said plus a lot more. And he said, he's like, wow. And of course he listens to fucking Claude instead of me, and he's like, Can I have Claude? And I was like, No. I was like, I need to make sure I monitor you on it. And he's 15, so we've had issues with this, but he's like, Well, I can't watch porn on it, right? And I'm like, No, it's not about that. I was like, The issue is, is that we're kind of in the early age of AI right now. Right now, every human, the way we act is based on how we were taught, our generational learnings, how we're brought up, everything that we experience. Right now, AI is a cheat code. So you're going to school, you're probably the only kid that's been told by AI what to do. But imagine a world in five years where every child is being told to act the exact same way. Every child is acting the same way, doing their thing, and everyone is now being influenced by mathematical algorithms. And as I said, that is where we lose the uniqueness of humanity.
And as we get into this AI era, We're really going to have this kind of attunement towards wanting human-derived content, human-derived art. And so in that respect, when it came to that, I started to see something of what I referred to as a homogenization, where there's a flattening, and we lose what makes us random and unique. And as that continues, the things that otherwise make us happy, and that changes. So. Becoming that point where we're cookie cutters, we really at this point, we're talking about AGI, like that's the thing to be afraid of. I believe that humans are actually going to be the thing that ultimately really need to curb back our overconsumption and realize that this is truly the most interesting time to be alive, and this is truly the time where we should enjoy every emotion we have. We're going through an exponential change in what we did in five years. Imagine what we do in a hundred. So today what we have is we have a lot of great content made by humans from some of the really great minds, as well as the amazing T.J. Miller, who's probably the best comedian I've ever met, which I'm going to say that because he can hear me right now. And so said, today is where we go forward. With all this in mind, I would like to bring out Ansem, our first person, and the Black Bull onto the stage. Let's give him a round of applause. You ready, brother? I'm ready. I think so. I hope so. We'll see. So, Ansem, welcome to the stage. Let's give him another round of applause. It's a hot seat right now. Let's warm this up.
So, Ansem, welcome to the stage. So, I mean, I said none of this was AI generated. I mean that. But I ran you through my AI, and there was—I basically said, like, find every single circumstance or situation where Ansem had controversy, hypocrisy, somebody talked shit about him, whatever else. And, you know, I expected a couple pages of results. That PDF was 196 fucking pages. 196 pages, Ansem. But I don't believe everything I read online. I don't. I don't. But, dude, you got banned from Uber. As a rider, that means that thousands of strangers agreed you're an asshole. So that's why we're here today, is to give him some of this in return. And he will have his chance to share how he feels after this. We'll see how it goes. The next person that I'd like to bring out on stage. We have CEO of Zero GAI, Michael Heinrich, who's going to be the first up to roast Ansem. Let's give him a big round of applause. Jarred, what was that? I thought we're here for some comedy. Modern day Genghis Khan. I mean, you're—you just need putting them out, man. Dude, you know, Jarred, I'm German. And we are worldwide known for our sense of humor. Or not, as you can tell. Yeah, yeah.
你還把公司取名叫 Winn.solutions,誰會這樣取名? Excellent. It's starting off very well. Come on, give a round of applause. You know, you don't have to laugh because it's my accent. You can't understand me. See, you're really good at it already. It's working. Again, I'm German, so I'm... Looking down at you. Like literally looking down at you. No, just kidding, just kidding. Just Jarred. That's fair. So Jarred Winn in the house. Jarred, who are you? Exactly. Like, what are you doing here? And how did you even meet TJ? Like... Was he looking for a less attractive version of himself to be a stunt double? I mean. And you named your company Winn.solutions. Like, Winn.solutions. Who does that? Like. I liked it. It's more like losing problems. Yeah, really, we've got losing problems here. Win solutions, losing problems. I mean, come on, guys. Anyways, TJ wrote that joke for me, so it wasn't supposed to be funny. And I told him that, but I don't think he could understand me because of my accent. And so, yeah. Anyways, you can't either, so case in point.
TJ is not on stage yet, but I do have to give him a riff as well. He's awesome, by the way. And I always wanted to do this. I love the show Silicon Valley, but just because you're on the show Silicon Valley, TJ, doesn't mean you have to desperately hang out in Silicon Valley. Yeah, so, TJ, I know you're backstage. I'm sure you can hear me right now, but I also think you're at the wrong conference. Shouldn't you be at the conference for, like, one of these autograph conferences for washed-up actors? I mean. I know you heard that, he's backstage. I love him though, he's great. Ansem, good to see you in person. You know, I like to show up early to meetings and conferences, but when I see you on my timeline, I'm already late. They call you the king of meme coins for a reason. So, but just an offer out there, if you ever want a real job, we are hiring at ZeroG.
Let's talk more about meme coins. So Ansem looks at a dog wearing a hat and sees generational wealth. When I see a dog wearing a hat, I see a dog wearing a hat. But then again, I have a job and I run a company. Talking more about dogs. So you never got that dog on the Las Vegas Sphere, huh? I didn't. I tried. Yeah. You know, in Germany, what they do when you raise $700,000 and you don't deliver, they put you on a train. At least that's what my parents told me, I don't know. Let's talk about your due diligence. It's got three stages. First stage, check the ticker. Second, check the meme. Third, check your Twitter. And then make some wild assumption that lost people millions of dollars. Some good due diligence process. Yeah, that didn't land so well, did it? It's my accent, for sure. Can't understand me. All right.
謝謝大家,Token2049 見,晚安!Again, my name is Michael Heinrich. I'm the CEO of 0G, and we're one of the first to do AI in the Web3 space. Before everybody pivoted into AI. So when you're getting replaced, you can thank Zero G. All right. And by the way, Ansem, we got a token. It's called Zero G, and 300 million FDV. It was 7 billion at TGE, 30 cents current price. Circulating supply is approximately 60%, so only 180 million market cap, 400 billion inference tokens served. Our competitors are Bittensor, Near, Venice AI. They're all trash. They all suck. If you pump our token, I'll pay you the same amount from the name of our company: zero G. Did I sound cool? I have no idea. I'm a white German. The hell do I know? No, but seriously, Ansem, you're brilliant. You make amazing calls. And we'll pay you to pump the token. Thank you, Token. Good night. Glad to be here.
T.J. Miller
Miller! Fantastic. Wow. For a first stab at comedy, Michael, that was almost funny. Thanks, Jarred. Let's give him another round of applause. That was fantastic. Wow. Although the zero G joke and that hand gesture was wildly inappropriate. All right, guys, everyone we're waiting for here. The next person we have coming up, we know who he is. T.J. Miller doesn't need an introduction, but let me give it. Star of the show Silicon Valley, Erlich Bachman, also star of Deadpool. The list goes on and on. We're so excited to have him out here. Let's get loud and bring out T.J. Miller, everybody. Great job, man. Hi. Hi, guys. Can you give a huge round of applause for Jarred, our host who left a beer on here, and one for Michael.
That was his first time ever doing any kind of stand-up, and he's German, so it was very difficult for him. So give him another huge round of applause, you guys. Think how hard that was. Nothing at these conferences is funny.
And Jarred, I think we can all agree you're a great host, and we didn't really know what you're talking about at the top. And that affects the situation wholly. Let's say hello to all of our VIPs in the front row. Nice, Magnus from Antler. Nice name for it, a Norwegian. That's very intimidating in Asia.
And let's see, I don't know any of these people. Oh, is that Dojo S? What a great idea. Doge used to be useless, and now... It's still useless. It's just, what a great idea. Who do we have here? Who are you guys? Oh, really? Zero G. I shouldn't have even brought it up. But now you have a lot of things to say behind your CEO's back, so that's really fun about it.
Now I'm going to make some jokes. Thank you guys for coming. We did this roast in Korea last year. We roasted a Chinese criminal, Justin Sun. And are we not allowed to tell the truth? Singapore. I didn't say anything bad about the Singaporean government, so I think as long as we're not China.
But so we love it. It's really fun to kind of bring some humor. Whole situation. We asked for a podium, but our sponsors didn't have enough money, I guess. So I have a fucking table that I'm supposed to stand in front of. It's unbelievable. They spent more money on that than on this. It's great.
I also like to say fuck at these conferences because you don't hear it very often. You didn't like that? Fuck you. So now I'm going to roast these guys, and we're all friends, I think. Maybe not after, but we'll start with Jarred. Jarred, again, who are you? Why are you here? What do you do? We met because I think you look— When I look at you, it's like looking in a mirror, kind of.
A less successful, less attractive mirror that always wears a black hat. That's his, like, signature way of covering his baldness. So I got flustered. Jarred, you look like me if I couldn't get it together. You look like me if I went on Ozempic. People, this is true, you guys. People sometimes stop Jarred and ask him for a picture thinking that he's me. This is true. And then he'll take it. He'll take the picture with them. Imagine the disappointment.
I mean, that'd be like taking a picture with Ansem because they thought he was Warren Buffett. Resemblance is striking. Buffett's been right for 60 years. Ansem has been right once, and he mentions it every day. Fucking won't shut up about Solana. There we go. Now we're kind of into it. Give yourselves a round of applause, guys. You all had free alcohol, I mean, at the very least. Michael, CEO of Zero-G. In case you don't know Michael, and you don't, his company is Zero-G, which stands for zero gravity, I think. And that makes sense because nothing he's done goes up. Including that little bratwurst over there. I'm talking about his dick.
So we wanted to be, we did want to be sensitive about the panel, about the roast racially. I thought that was really, really important, and so I was happy to have a German on the panel because they are not racist. They don't look down on people. They just try and eliminate them. Okay. I really feel this. I feel like you guys, I'm going to get big laughs, and then I'm going to get, ugh. Which, by the way, fine with me. I have a day job.
I like handsome. Michael, you don't get paid to tweet. It's not your fucking job. So, Michael, this is, this is—you guys wrote this. I want you guys to know that. Michael is really into meditation. And I have to ask, how long did you meditate when your token dropped 80%? Were you able to look within and see how many people you had to fire? Wow. Fine. Let's all pretend like that hasn't happened to everyone in this room.
Yeah, you guys can be sad. Remember, Bitcoin is in the fucking 80s. Relax. Jesus Christ. Ansem, let's get to Ansem, okay? You guys want to hear some jokes about Ansem? Come on, guys, get behind it! There we go. That's the energy we want. That's the energy we expect from KBW. So, Ansem. I mean, who doesn't know him? And maybe a lot of people. We couldn't get anyone more famous, but Ansem. The Black Bull, what a pleasure.
I think everyone can agree here that you have lost that money. If you follow Ansem on Twitter, then you are concerned about his mental health. He's constantly quitting. That is true. You've quit multiple times. You've been out of the game so many times that when you say, I've sold everything I had, I'm completely out, I buy more Black Bull. Obviously not that much. You hold 65%. That's not weird at all. Are you friends with Justin Sun? A little bit. Tron. Don't worry about me. I'm down with the CCP.
Ansem, I trust you. I remember back in 2022 when you praised Luna. Three Arrows Capital and Alameda. Well, you got all of those right, didn't you? Got a bit of a road bump, a bump in the road for all of us, wasn't it? Fucking. No, it went well for me because I sort of— I made so much money, I spent $650,000 to get a dog on the Sphere in Las Vegas. That's right, I put in $650,000 of the $700,000, and I haven't gotten it back.
But Ansem, and this is important, guys, everybody expects him to be some sort of fortune teller, but he doesn't always get it right. The only thing that you've ever gotten right is when you write, I am not a financial advisor. None of this is investment nor financial advice, and I have not taken any of those series 1, 2, 3, X, Y, Z tests. We know that. All of us think it's dubious that you say you went to college.
On his major calls, Ansem got three right, three wrong. Okay, so I think a better nickname than Black Bull is Coin Flip, which is approximately what most people have made following your bad trades. Ansem, you're on Twitter so much I would hate to be your girlfriend. Do you guys ever think about that? What it would be like to be Ansem's girlfriend? Right before she gets an orgasm, she's like, Are you back there checking the charts? And he's like, Baby, no, baby, I'm here bunking, and I'm about to moon. I just have to lose some people a lot of money. That's the only way you can come.
Let's talk about the boxing match, shall we? Did you guys see it? Ansem versus BitBoy. That response makes me feel like this material is going to go great. So what's that? You need BitBoy on the panel? He's on fucking house arrest, you idiot. What the fuck is this guy? Why are you talking to me? You're not in the VIP section. Why don't you get with a company that can afford a sponsorship instead of holding hands with that guy over there? Instead of holding hands with that guy over there, you guys just did telegrams, these arseholes.
I gotta say, Ansem, some people said it was brave of you to fight BitBoy. They were wrong. As soon as I saw him come out, though, I felt bad for him. I mean, did you see him? Have you guys seen him lately? And you, look at you. Look at you. As soon as I... You're tall, handsome, you're fit. Look at him. Look what he's doing right now. You just kind of leaned back. Yeah, exactly. But when the fight started, I started feeling bad for you more and more and more. BitBoy is half his size. The guy's on oxygen. I don't know if you saw that. I'm serious. He had to take oxygen, didn't he? Yeah, he did. My grandmother's on oxygen. Neither of you landed really any punches. It was more like hugging than hitting.
You know what chime in now, idiot. This is my impression. I did want to show this to you. This isn't really for you guys. This is my impression of Anson fighting BitBoy, okay? Which he trained. That was the whole thing. He was a boxer before that fight. He's like a real boxer, I guess. And then when you're fighting, this is my impression of you. That's funny, I almost fell off that fucking stage. No podium, but we've got three or four levels to this stage. I don't know why. And then there was the result of— The match, it was 50-50. It was a draw. So I went all in on you because I believe in you. I do, and wagered $650,000 I had recently lost on a dog project. Cause I thought there was no fucking way you were gonna lose to BitBoy, who looks— I'm gonna deliver this to this guy. Is power. I thought there was no fucking way he was gonna lose to BitBoy, who looks like a sleep-deprived zombie just saw something terrifying. See, that didn't really get a laugh. That's why he's not at the fucking conference.
Kingdom Hearts。 Kingdom Hearts。 Black。Thank you. Thank you. So, to sum it up, I lost a lot of fucking money because Ansem couldn't get it done. And you couldn't get the fucking dog on the sphere. Kingdom Hearts. You know, do you guys know this, that Ansem is from the video game. That name is from the video game Kingdom Hearts. Did you guys know that? Well, now you do. Yes. One guy knows it. Fantastic. My guy. Yeah, that is your guy. Ansem, you took your name from Kingdom Hearts. It's all true. You know, I was in Kingdom Hearts 3. Did you know that? As Fred from Big Hero 6. So I'm actually in the game you stole your name from. So if you want to change your name to Fred, I'm happy to make that happen for 65% of the black.
或者至少玩 Call of Duty 這種比較 man 的遊戲。 RPG。You know what? I'm going to stop making fun of him. I only have a little more time here. I'm going to stop for a second, and I want to say thank you. Thank you for all the tips you've given me over the years. And so here's a tip for you. I want to give back. Here's a tip for you. Grow the fuck up and stop playing video games. Or at least play like Call of Duty or some, like, a man. Something more masculine, bull-like, you know? You call yourself Black Bull, but you play a fantasy RPG game starring Donald Duck and me? Bro, it's a good game. Yeah, whatever you say. You guys can bet on it. RPB.
And then finally, when AI replaces you, everyone is worried that AI will replace them. Jarred touched on that, right? I think. I didn't know what the fuck he was talking about. And unfortunately, I've heard that Zero G. Which is the OG at developing AI is going to replace you. I hear it tweets less, has a higher percentage of good calls, doesn't talk about Solana all the fucking time. And I hate to be the one to break it to you, but it's definitely better at boxing. Absolutely. A lot of people have been asking, and will ask, did you have AI write your jokes for you? No, I didn't. If it was a person who was harder to roast, then yeah, I might have done that. But this shit writes itself, especially about the dog. Not getting on the sphere! Give me my six hundred fucking fifty thousand dollars back! Thanks, guys. Wow. Wow. Oh man, my cheeks after that one. That was great.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Wow. Y'all remember it. Did you just moon? That one was my favorite. I really liked that mooning at climax, right? All right, so we have two more things coming up for you. Firstly, Ansem, the Black Bull. Gets his chance to finally speak his voice. What is it that he wants to say in return to all of the roasting that he just received? After that, we're gonna have a nice little fireside between him and TJ, and it's gonna be good. So, Handsome, you ready? You have some things to say? I think. Y'all just gave me some ammo, so I think I'm ready. Well, let's see what you do, man. You do good, man.
Ansem
What's good, guys? How we doing? Was that funny or no? Funny? Give it out of 10, out of 10, how funny was it? Eight? Eight's kind of high. I don't know. Eight's kind of high. I feel like they put me up here with three white guys to roast me. It's like the most stereotypical thing you can do at a crypto conference. So it's like, it's funny though, because these are actually the archetypes that I run into at crypto conferences. You got the guy in the middle shilling me a token, of course. Like, bro, buy my token, buy my token, please buy my token. That's him. Then you have this guy, who, like, confuses me with the only other black guy in crypto, Arthur Hayes. I mean, we don't look that similar. And then... My guy, TJ Miller. There's always, like, really funny people at crypto conferences just randomly walking around. You have no idea why they're there, but they're there, and they're really hilarious. So I think that that's TJ. Yeah, I thought that was funny. And Jarred. I'm gonna start with you because you're, I feel like you're the easiest target, to be honest.
Thank you. I know. You're just funny. Funny looker. The hat. I've seen you four times now. Every time I see you, you're wearing the same hat. I don't know if it comes off or how tight it is, but you look like 50 Cent in like 2003. It's kind of crazy. You're like 50 Cent mixed with like Gimli from Lord of the Rings. I like it. I got some laughs. Cool. Michael, there are a ton of successful founders in crypto, but the majority of them are Asian and Jewish. You're German. You're German. You don't fit the stereotype.
You don't fit the stereotype. Then you're in Singapore. You know, I think your token might be kind of reflective of this fact. You know, Germany and the Weimar Republic, the paper mark, I think, went down slower than— Zero G hats. Feel better now? I'm not sure if your fit is, like, for the crypto conference. You got your toes out in all white. You look like you're going to Michael Rubin's white party. I don't know what you're trying to do. Very comfortable. You do look cozy, though. TJ, my guy.
I've been trying to take, like, notes from you while you were doing your delivery, so I'm trying to do what you were doing. But you went from Silicon Valley, great show, like top of the top, and then you went to Big Hero 6, funny, funny movie. But now you're at a crypto conference. How? How did you get here? Subway. Like how much of the sponsors giving you, bro? They give you a lot. I like the VIP. I really like the VIP sections. I like that. That's cool.
Um, crowd, how are you guys doing? Good? I feel like—I fuck with you guys. You guys are cool. A lot of my rows were like, Damn, Ansem's calls are terrible. You lost people so much money. Like, how much money have I made you guys? Decent amount? Yeah? Just wanted to check. I don't got much more, guys. I think that's it, so.
That's great. All right, everybody, let's do a quick cheers here. This is to our second commemorative roast. We're gonna do a quick fireside between Ansem and TJ, and we're gonna have some fun stuff coming up during that. To the second roast, you guys both, everyone did excellent. Cheers. Cheers, cheers, cheers. Cheers to you guys. Thank you so much for coming.
All right. So yeah, I thought I would do a quick conversation with Ansem. A little less comedic, a little more real. Are you guys up for that? Round of applause. Yes? Yes. And we're just going to have people kind of moving things around, you know, kind of rolls away. Perfect. So what I wanted to ask you first off is, what was it like doing a roast? What was it like being up there? Because you've never done anything like that. Was it fun?
It was fun. I mean, give a round of applause. That's insane. I mean, how many of you would be willing to go up and try and just basically do stand-up out of the blue at a crypto conference with probably the worst audience I've ever been in front of? I'm gonna roast you guys a little bit too.
And so what I wanted to ask you about was, you know, how do you feel about being the guy? Right, and people would argue about this maybe, but you are the guy in the meme coin world. What does that celebrity feel like? It's kind of weird, to be honest. It was never a planned thing. I didn't never want to be, like, super popular for X, Y, and Z. It kind of just happened naturally. I was sharing my trades and my account blew up while I was doing that. But it's been really cool. Like to interact with people in person, when I get to meet people that have followed me for years, tailed some of my trades and made money. I've also interacted with some people that have lost money on my trades, which is always funny. But no, it's cool to meet people in person, especially when, like, we've been in the same industry for a really long time. I feel like crypto is a community that's very online, and so, like. When I go to these conferences, people want to take pictures and stuff. It is pretty cool.
And you said we were backstage and I was talking to you about, you know, why do you go to these conferences if you're making the money that you're making and losing the money that you're losing? But in general, why do you— because you go to a lot of conferences, and you sort of, your answer was different than I expected, but... Yeah, I mean, I think it's like, it's cool, one, to be able to meet people and other traders and stuff that are in the same area when these conferences happen, because as I said, crypto community is very online. But also I feel like it's good to hear, to be able to speak to people like face to face. So people will come to these conferences to learn, like I did the Market Bubble Live earlier, I did the Meme Coin panel yesterday. And a lot of people are coming to conferences like these because they're trying to get alpha and trying to learn about markets and, like, what trades they should be taking and what they should be doing and how to navigate things. And I think it's really difficult if you're not in the weeds with crypto 24/7, like a lot of us are, if you're kind of, like, external to crypto. So these conferences are kind of like one way where people come and digest a lot of information. I feel like I have knowledge to share and to help people. That's great.
I did want to ask you this. When you make a call, because I'm sure we all know what it's like when you make a call and it's like, you know, it works. When you do that and it does not work and it totally bombs, how does that feel? Do you want to just get offline? Do you want to hide? What do you feel like? I feel like at the beginning it was kind of like that. Like when people are dogpiling on you for missing a trade or being wrong, you do kind of take that to heart at the beginning. But like— I'm so sorry to interrupt. Can you bring that baby closer? Because we can't fucking hear it well enough. Thank you for bringing a baby to a fucking crypto— What is, is that a founder back there? Good God. All right, sorry. Go ahead, go ahead.
Yeah, like when it first started happening, it was kind of like jarring. But like after a while, you get used to it. And I think what people realize is like when I make a call and I lose and I'm wrong, I'm also losing money. Like it's not like my money's not behind the trade. And I think people do. Really appreciate that I'm transparent on what I'm losing money on and what I'm making money on. Like, you're never gonna see me delete tweets about something that I called or, like, say I didn't do X, Y, and Z. So I think that, like, adds to the, like, genuine, like, persona that I have in crypto, like, why a lot of people do still follow me and take what I say to heart.
And then I do have to ask you, because we talked the first time we met, I asked this question, but to do what you do, you are always looking at the market. Yeah. You are just obsessively looking. And when I was talking to somebody else about it, somebody said, Well, he picks a couple things. You're looking at everything, I assume. Yeah. Has that become kind of a prison? Of your own sort of devising, do you feel like, because it's 24 hours a day, do you feel like sometimes, like, if I am not awake looking at these charts, I am going to miss the information I need? Like, do you? Definitely. I've definitely gotten stuck in that mindset for a while. Like 2020 and 2021, it was really, really bad. Like I was never logging off at all. It is kind of like a trap, especially when you have— Something that you're talking about, especially with the memes. So meme coins, as you know, they're driven a lot by attention. And so it's like, the more I'm talking about something, the more people are seeing it, the more viral it goes, which, like, impacts stuff a lot. Yeah. So, like, with stuff like that, it's like obviously you got to be locked in and always talking about it. But I think, yeah, it's hard to unplug. And one of the things that I do give advice to traders with is, like, you have to have— A life outside of trading, because if you don't have that life outside of trading, you're gonna fuck up eventually. Like, even if you're locked in 24/7, you're making a lot of money, if you don't have the ability to turn that switch off, you're gonna lose a lot of it. Because there are periods in the market where you should be trading a lot, and there are periods in the market where you should not be trading a lot. And so, like, learning that was, like, a big lesson for me. But I definitely get trapped in the—
And you did that recently. You unplugged for like a year, right? How did you do that and why? Yeah, 2025, I unplugged a lot. So I made money on hype, I made money on Trump, and I closed a lot of positions afterwards. And what I realized from like 2022, when I made a lot of money, sold pretty close to the top, except for JUUL, DFK. I kept trading, and like I ended up giving a lot of money back in 2022 because I, like, I just was trading in a market that I shouldn't have been as active in. And so I was like, okay, I hit a lot. I just did really well. I'm on track and I have some good profit. I'm gonna take a step back. And I took a step back in 2025, like from actively trading as much and just like from being so active online. It was definitely very beneficial for me, like mentally and also for my portfolio. It's good to be able to unplug. The good thing about being a trader is you make your own hours. It's like you can trade when you want to, especially if you're doing well. You got to use that to your advantage. And then you spent some time with family, yeah? Yeah.
And so I think lastly, because we're here in real life, this is actually happening. None of you are trolls except for that guy. Is there anything you sort of always kind of want to say when people are kind of going after you for this or saying thank you to that? Like, you know what I mean? Kind of like, you know, it's— I think it's very rare that people get the opportunity to say, Hey, you know, you guys should know that I do this because it's, you know, for me, but it's also for you. You know, it hurts my feelings when people say bad things about me. I'm a very vulnerable guy. I'm tall. I have great, you know. Yeah, but I get sad, you know. I cry. I cry. And then I look at what I made on Bonk, and then, you know, I go to sleep. Anything like that.
Um, yeah, I would say that, like, for me, when I first got into crypto in 2017, I didn't know anything. I just graduated from Georgia Tech. I was working as a software engineer, and I learned— Did you work at Capital One? I worked at Capital One, yeah. And I learned the majority of my trading from Crypto Twitter. And so people like Cobie, people like Loom, people like Trader Main, a ton of guys back then, they were all just putting out quality information on, like, how to navigate the market, how market cycles work, like to stack Bitcoin and not stay all in altcoins, like how to diversify your portfolio. When you should be in the market, when you should be out of the market, not to keep all your money on one exchange, like how to manage your personal wallets and all that. So all that information people were putting out there for free, and they had no incentivization to put that information out there. They didn't have to do it. They already were doing well. A lot of these guys bought Bitcoin like 2012 and earlier and were already, like, minted, but they decided to— Put that information out onto Crypto Twitter for other people to learn from, and I was one of the people learning from them. And I didn't make a lot of money in 2017 and 2018, but the lessons that I learned from them and from my first cycle is why I was able to do well in 2021 and why I was able to do well in 2023 and why I was continuing to be able to do well in trading. And so the reason that I continue to log on Crypto Twitter, I guess Crypto X now. And put out content consistently and put out my trade ideas even when people are yelling and screaming and saying X, Y, and Z. There is like a lot of negative blowback sometimes online. But the reason I continue to do it is because I feel like I'm in a position where I know that I have knowledge that other people would love to have. And then I can also help people in a way that not many people are able to do. And there's not a lot of people that are in that position and choose to do that. Because, like, if you've made money trading and you don't need to be public and sharing content, doing X, Y, and Z, you can just fuck off. There's no reason that you can't just go fuck off and do whatever it is that you want to do. But the people that I learned from in 2017 didn't. Do that. Like, they didn't go fuck off. They chose to, and continue to stay to even some to this day, put out quality content and share quality information. And so that's like my main reason for continuing to stay active online, even though I don't necessarily need to.

Yeah, I think that's my— Yeah, I mean, it's, and we'll finish up, but, and there's a joke about Capital One and what's in your wallet, but AI wrote that. That's fucking bullshit. What I will say is, it seems like you really like to teach. You know, you like to help people learn. And what I've learned from you tonight, or today, and I think everyone has, That if you're in the world that you're in, meme coins trading, you say, I made a lot of money, but instead of saying, I lost money, you just said, I gave a lot back. Like it's fucking charity. Guys, give him a round of applause. Dude, that was great. That was so funny. Thank you so much.
