It's hard to spend, and between them, there's a wall, a big wall. To cross the wall, actually, you need to spend a lot of stuff. You know, it's very expensive.

Probably a bit more difficult than what we would have liked. But yeah, to get that first win was amazing. It was probably also emotional for quite a few people, and just seeing, of course, all the hard work that has been going on also in the background over the year to try and make us more competitive, right? I said, of course, before the weekend the target till the end of the season was to Yeah, to win a race and then it immediately happened the next weekend. So, yeah, it was really nice. It was really, yeah, just a great weekend for the team.

14:22所有關於成功與興奮的討論，正好帶我們進入今天的第一個主題，就是關於表現。Max，你怎麼看待巔峰表現？So all that talk of success and excitement brings us really nicely to our first topic of discussion, which is a little bit about performance. So, Max, what does peak performance mean to you?

And, you know, when it's such like a big operation, to get the best out of everyone is always very difficult, you know, because you don't know how they live privately, you don't know how happy they are at work or not, and making sure that everyone is always very tuned in, you know, to try and achieve the same goal at the end of the day. Yeah, I think takes a lot of people management, but yeah, I enjoy it. You know, I think also the people that I have around me, close within the team, we have been, of course, working with each other for a very long time. So yeah, when it then really clicks and you can win races again. It's really, really nice.

15:25Gate 的效能與使用者體驗

So, for example, when someone or a user wanted to start looking for a crypto service or financial service, they obviously, we will present as a very strong brand, a very trusted brand, so that they can, you know, confidently and safely deposit their money into the platform and trade. And then, you know, after they sign up, they really want to, you know, explore the products and everything. And I want to echo, you know, what Dr. Han just shared. You know, with Gate Money now, we're integrating all the products, you know, from cash accounts, crypto, stocks, and gold into one account. It's really expanding the whole portfolio for users just to choose, and that's like performance to us as well, because that's accessibility for users to choose whatever they want. So I think for us, we really need to keep challenging ourselves and push our limits, just like in F1, because we always chase that 0.01 second margin of improvement. Because whether it's, you know, trading speed or, you know, the payment kind of speed, in order to make it as seamless as possible, I think that's what we're always, you know, pushing ourselves.

16:52靈活應變與壓力管理

You also both have to be very agile and quick to adapt whenever there's sort of changing circumstances. And Max, we're going to come to you first on this one. Every race has its own set of very unique challenges and a script that can change sort of multiple times throughout a race weekend. We saw that, for instance, just last week. What's the first thing that you do when a plan changes and you have to adapt? Well, it depends, of course, on what happens, but I think it's always trying to keep you calm, you know, trying to have a good overview of the situation. Of course, you know, there are a lot of people that are in the background, but you're in the car alone, right? So it's sometimes a bit limited with the information that you can have, but— Sometimes when things don't go your way, you need to try and, yeah, very quickly just regroup, reset, and just focus on the task ahead.

And Kyle, as a senior leader in a constantly evolving industry, how do you adapt and manage some of the pressures of sort of market changes? Yeah, that's a great question. I think pressure is constant in crypto. It's like 24/7. If you ask anyone in the audience, I think they would agree. So I think the best way to do this is we always stay a long-term view. So obviously, you know, in crypto market or in financial market, there's always, you know, short-term kind of rocky roads and like, oh, short-term bearish or bullish. It doesn't really, like, impact what we do. We always kind of, like, zoom out, you know, stay calm and keep building. It's almost like Oracle Red Bull Racing as well, because a championship is never won over, like, one lap or even one race, right? It's like a whole season. You have to be consistently good over the whole season to do that. So it's exactly the same for us.

18:38賽前準備與直覺反應

18:38你們都提到準備工作。F1 極度競爭，需要不斷進步。Max，有什麼是觀眾可能不知道的，關於賽前你們在駕駛表現上的準備？其實也要留點時間給自己。大家常看到我們到處跑、跟大家聊天，但有時候你只想靜下來，花點時間回顧這個週末學到的好壞經驗，思考一下。然後才真正上車，因為其實我們週末開車的時間比想像中少，反而花更多時間在其他準備上。當然，經驗越多，準備也會越輕鬆。And you talk a little bit, both of you I guess, about kind of preparation and the work that goes in before you actually get to your event or to your race. F1 is incredibly competitive, demanding constant improvement. Max, what's one thing that, you know, people in the audience might not know about the preparation and the work that goes into the driver's performance before the race? Well, it's just, you know, taking time to yourself as well, because you always see us running around talking to everyone. But at the same point, at one point, you just want to, you know, just sit back a little bit and have a bit of time to yourself and, you know, just go over all the things that probably you have learned also over the weekend and, you know, the good things, the bad things, and then, you know, have a few moments for yourself to think about all of that. Before you actually then, yeah, jump in the car, because it's basically like nonstop, you know. We actually don't drive the car that much in the weekend compared to what we actually do around it. So, but you still need to prepare well, and of course the more experience you have over the years of driving, probably the easier it gets as well.

19:40那在車上時，多少是靠直覺？其實兩者都有。你可以準備得再好，賽事中總有些情境是靠直覺決定，這往往決定成敗。So there is a lot that goes into the preparation, but then on the flip side, I suppose, how much comes down to just pure instinct when you're in the car? Yeah, again, there is always a bit of a factor of both of them, I guess. You can prepare as well as you can, but there are always certain scenarios in a race where it's just instinct that can make the decision or can make the difference also between a good or a bad result.

I'm going to speak a little bit more about our predictor in just a moment. But Kyle, how important is it for you to predict and anticipate some of those market trends that we see, just to ensure that you are relevant across all of your marketing outputs? I think it's also very similar to what Max said, I think. We, especially in the market, right, no one can really predict where the market is going to go up or down or sideways. I think it's really about staying nimble, staying, you know, creative, and be as reactive as possible and react really fast to, you know, any shift in sentiments or trends and etc. So, for example, like for us, like we started to realize, hey, you know, crypto users might not. Be, you know, completely satisfied with just crypto trading, right? So they might want, you know, stocks or other kind of products. So we kind of like spot that early on, and we react really fast. So we, you know, did all the product, you know, improvement and all that to really, you know, start catering that. So that's, you know, I would say a combination of instinct and reactive, like reaction to the market and to users.

21:13Max，你覺得預測比賽會發生什麼重要嗎？其實我從來不太去想這個。我比賽的方式就是不想太多、不讓事情複雜化，只想坐進車裡做自己的事，相信自己的經驗和團隊的經驗。對我來說，想太多反而會讓自己更緊張，效果更差。And Max, how important is it to try and predict what's going to happen in a race? Is that even possible? Well, yeah, I probably, like, I never really think about it. Like, that's how I've always approached how I race. Like, I don't like to overthink or overcomplicate things, so I just want to sit in the car and just do my thing and trust. My experience and of course the experience from the team, because the more you, for me at least, the more I think about it, the more you stress about it, and actually it's worse.

21:42心態與準時的重要性

21:42最後一個嚴肅問題，Max，你覺得賽車手的哪種心態也適用於其他領域？大概就是準時吧，我很討厭遲到。對我來說，準時是種尊重，因為大家約好開會就要準時到，不然就是對其他人不尊重。不管是工作還是私下聚會、吃飯，這都是我一直以來的習慣，也很有結構性。雖然我已經習慣了，但我認為準時真的很重要，否則你可能在其他事情上也會鬆懈。如果你不重視這個，可能其他事情也會跟著不重視。And last kind of serious question here for you, Max, but what is one mindset that you would apply to racing that you think applies to everything else as well? Probably being punctual, being on time. I hate being late. So because for me, it's always a sign of respect as well, right? Because people, you know, you set meetings and you need to be there on time. If you're not, you're disrespecting the people that are in that meeting with you, or whatever in private life that can be a dinner or, you know, just a meetup. And that's something, of course, that I've dealt with a long time in my life, having quite a structure and always living off a schedule. So I kind of got used to it, but it's still, I think, very important always to make sure that you are there on time, because otherwise you're slacking. And maybe when you're not respecting that, what else are you not respecting in your life in terms of being on top of it?

Now the idea from this, it came from something that we know that fans already do every race weekend. So they—or the team, they debate about personalities and rivalries potentially, and they predict what might happen next. And Trackside Predictions turns that behaviour into something that fans can actually participate in and get rewarded for. So I think we have a short video to play to just explain that a little more.

So fans will make predictions, they will earn and grow their gate points, climb leaderboards, and then they can unlock exclusive prizes and experiences as well. Now for us, really, that's just a great example of a partnership and what it should do. So Gate will bring their technology and expertise, and they'll apply that to a learning and something that we know about our fans and create this new way for fans to engage with us wherever they are in the world.

So. First up, Singapore survival kit. What comes first, a cold Red Bull or a cooling towel? Probably a cold Red Bull for me. Yeah, cold Red Bull, very good choice. It was need to stay hydrated. Yeah, nice. Like that. Race week fuel. What would you grab first, chicken and rice or a tomato soup? So everywhere I go on the Thursday for lunch. There's always a tomato soup involved. Yeah, I love it. I just love it. So that for sure comes first because I only eat chicken and rice on race day. Nice. Okay, good. Goes into the preparation stuff as well. Love it. And then lastly, what is harder to handle, last-minute strategy change or the Singapore humidity? I have to say the humidity. Well, when I started driving here, it was probably harder for me when I was younger. Now it actually gets better, dealing with the humidity. It's still very tough. But then at the same time, a late strategy call or change can be either good or bad, right? So that can sometimes also be quite hard to handle.
