We're here talking with Bill, the founder of the Trump coin. I am Dim Selk. I do investments at Selini Capital, a prop firm. Spanning from hypercrypto trading and venture and kind of liquid trading. Very happy to be having a chat with you, Bill, here. We did one in Korea as well. This obviously was one of the biggest launches that crypto has ever seen. Talk to us a little bit about your kind of relationship with the president over the past 25 years and how this kind of all came about.

Before we even start, did everybody get their Trump watch? The Trump watch? Okay, you should have it. So let me just give you a little background of how the Trump meme coin started. I've been a friend and business partner of the president, way before he was president, 25, 30 years ago. And we've done a lot of stuff together. We've done books, we've done live events.

We did 45,000 of them. They sold out in 10 hours in the biggest crypto winter, 2022 December. It sold out, and we saw what a brand Trump has. And we came out with three more collections of Trump cards. We also came up with gold sneakers. You can read about those.

We did a limited edition of a thousand of them, and they were selling on eBay for hundreds of thousands of dollars. I think the most was 450,000, a signed one. We do Trump watches, we do Trump fragrances, and right before the president was going to be president for the second time, we started discussing what can we do for the crypto community, and we came up with the Trump coin.

It was just, I don't think there ever has been a coin launch like the Trump coin. There really hasn't. I watched the day one, as everyone in crypto did, it was really one of the biggest launches ever.

First of all, is there anybody here that doesn't know Trump? That's the question. And around the world, wherever we go, everybody knows Trump, knows President Trump. So it's an amazing brand, and he was really the first man to start.

3:37他也是最早開始談加密貨幣、相信加密貨幣的領袖之一。從 NFT 的成功，他看到了這個市場的潛力，也明白加密貨幣能帶來什麼。這就是為什麼 Trump Coin 能在全球引起共鳴，大家都很愛 Trump。我們到哪裡都能感受到這種熱情，大家都有自己的 Trump 故事和感受。Talking about crypto and believing in crypto, he saw from the NFTs how big that market is and where it could go and what crypto could do. So it resonated around the world with people. They just loved, they loved, they loved Trump, and we see it wherever we go. They're all around the world. People just feel connected to Trump. They all have a Trump story, a Trump feeling, and they love it.

4:10Trump Family 社群與 Coin Club 線下體驗

4:10你們也建立了一個社群，叫做 Trump Family，對吧？可以多聊聊這個社群嗎？其實 Trump Coin 只是這個社群的載體，我們稱之為 Trump Family，這個社群還在持續壯大。等下我們會聊一些我們為社群做的事。這個社群很特別，大家會見面、聚會，像是 Trump Time、Trump Deals，大家彼此認識，形成一個線下的社群。And you formed a community around that, right? It's kind of what you call the Trump family, I've heard you say before, right? Do you want to speak a little bit more to that? Yeah. So, the Trump coin is just a vehicle. For this community, we call it a Trump family, and it keeps growing. And we're going to talk a little bit about some of the stuff that we do for this community. But it's an amazing community, and the community meets, the community gets together. It's Trump time, so it's Trump deals, and people get to know each other. I think it's just a special community that is offline and gets to meet people.

And in fact, the Trump Coin Club is in Singapore the end of this weekend. We're doing three days of Formula One for our best holders, and— What we do is we stay at the Mandarin Oriental. We have the greatest dinners. We go to nightclubs. We party, we hang out, and then of course we watch the race. We have a suite. We just came. We did the World Cup in New York. That was extraordinary. We had the best suite, I think. One of the best suites, if not the best, right on the field. And it was three days, five-star hotel, dinners, best restaurant, clubs.

And everybody knows the Trump brand is all about luxury. So we do this first class. We've also done some dinners in Washington with President Trump, and we've done a conference with President Trump and some of the greatest brands out there like Mike Tyson or—I mean, you did the one at Mar-a-Lago, which... Is the one that I visited first.

So we try to get everybody involved in the coin.

And we threw a party with Mike Tyson for the top holders in that nightclub, and it was—you were there. I got a great picture with Mike. Yeah, it was great. So we try to do interesting stuff because we don't see it so much as just a coin. We see it as a community that has a coin part of it. It's a little different than most of the others.

9:12線下體驗與 Trump Coin 生態系

9:12我觀察到你們最特別的地方，就是能創造這些線下體驗，這些體驗用錢都買不到。這讓大家能真正接觸 Trump 品牌和相關人脈。當你在世界盃包廂裡認識新朋友，大家就會開始談生意，這就是 Trump 的風格，也是我們一直努力營造的生態系。From what I've seen, it's just the ability to create these experiences offline that, you know, I don't think you can't buy these experiences with money, right? Right. So it's a way for people to touch the Trump brand and the people around it. And when you network and you meet people and you sit in a World Cup box, You do deals. You do. It's what Trump does, and that's part of what we try to do all the time. And it's, we see it as an ecosystem of people with the Trump brand.

9:45Trump Coin 的未來藍圖與新計畫

9:45那接下來 Trump Coin 有什麼新計畫？我們即將推出 Trump Game，一款手機遊戲，預計會成為 Trump App Store 的第一名。還有一個類似 Shark Tank 的電視節目，Trump Coin 會贊助美國創業家。甚至我們還在考慮買一座 Trump 樂園，持有 Trump Coin 可以優先玩設施。地點還不能透露，但這些都是我們想做的有趣項目。And talk to us a little bit about what's next for the Trump coin. What do you have kind of planned for the brand as a roadmap? Yeah, so we're doing the launching the Trump game. It's a mobile game that we think it's going to be number one on the Trump App Store. It's going to be fantastic. And then we're doing a TV show kind of like Shark Tank. Where Trump Coin will be giving out money to American entrepreneurs that are building companies. And then we're looking to buy an amusement park, so the Trump amusement park. And of course, with your coin, you get ahead of people, you get the better rides. Are you able to talk about location here or not yet? No, we can't talk about it yet. Okay, but we're talking. We just think these are interesting projects for the Trump coin that we can do.

10:47社群願景與全球擴展

10:47作為創辦人，你希望這個社群五年後變成什麼樣子？我們現在正圍繞這個社群打造各種新項目，讓大家能用 Trump Coin 參與其中。這是一個很特別的社群。總統對加密社群貢獻良多，我們一直在慶祝這一點，也希望未來能做更多，讓社群持續成長。And as the founder kind of deploying this coin, what do you want this community to be, you know, five years from now? What we're doing is we're taking this community and now we're building things around it, all new projects, so people can take their coin. And be happy using it around these projects. And it's a special community. The president obviously has done so much for the crypto community, and we're celebrating, and we've been celebrating since he's been president, and the community has. We think there's a lot more that we can do with this community and grow it.

11:35我們剛從韓國來，為什麼選擇新加坡作為這次活動的終點？因為我們會跟著社群走，新加坡有很大的社群。這週末我們會參加 F1 賽車，未來也會繼續在有社群的地方辦派對、慶祝活動，讓大家彼此認識。這其實就是一個生態系，像 Trump 手錶、Trump 香水都可以用 Trump Coin 購買，一切都圍繞這個生態系，讓社群更強大。這在 meme 幣圈是很罕見的。And look, we were just in Korea. Why did you pick Singapore? Why did you decide to come to Singapore to kind of close it off? We go wherever the community is. We have a very big community in Singapore. We're doing the Formula One race this weekend. And we will continue going where the community is, doing parties, doing celebrations, getting people to know each other. And it's really, if you think about it, it's an ecosystem. So you get Trump watches, and you can buy it with the Trump coin or Trump fragrances. Everything is connected around this ecosystem. Which then builds a stronger community. And it's very unique in the meme community to have such a strong community. Absolutely.
